Why we built it

Most golf apps are score diaries. You post a round, it goes in a list, and nothing happens. Play every Saturday for a year and you have fifty unconnected rounds and no idea whether the year was any good.

Golf already solved this. It's called a season — a schedule, a handicap so everyone has a chance, a card somebody signs, and a champion at the end. It just needs everyone in the same place at the same time, which is exactly what a group of adults with jobs and families can't manage.

TourCard takes the season and removes the part that doesn't work. Everyone plays the same course inside the same window, on whichever day they can get out. The event settles when the window closes. The table updates. Nobody had to be free on Saturday at eight.

The part we're strict about is the score. A round is committed when you start it, capped at one attempt, and a marked card needs a signature before it counts. That's more friction than a score diary needs and exactly as much as a competition needs. A trophy nobody trusts isn't worth winning.
