TourCard

These terms are the agreement between you and Matt Kasiman (“we”, “us”) covering the TourCard app and website. By creating an account you accept them. If you do not accept them, do not use the app.
Our Privacy Policy explains what we collect and why, and forms part of these terms.
You must be at least 13 years old. You need one account, registered with a real email address you control, and you are responsible for what happens under it — including keeping your password to yourself. Do not create an account on someone else’s behalf or pretend to be another golfer.
TourCard is a competition. Posting scores you did not shoot spoils it for everyone else, so the app checks every round against your own history and holds anything that looks out of character for review. Deliberately posting false scores, manipulating a leaderboard, or operating more than one account to do either is a breach of these terms and we may remove the rounds, the badges won with them, or the account.
Handicap indexes shown in the app are our own estimate calculated from the rounds you post. They are not official USGA or WHS handicaps and should not be presented as such.
You keep ownership of what you write. By posting a review, a display name, or any other content, you give us permission to store it and show it to other golfers inside the app — nothing more. We do not sell it, license it on, or use it in advertising.
You are responsible for what you post, and you confirm you have the right to post it.
We have a no-tolerance policy for objectionable content and abusive users.
Content that breaches this policy is removed and the account behind it may be suspended or terminated without warning and without refund. We review every report we receive and act on it within 24 hours.

This applies to everything a person can type, including display names, home city, and course review text. The app also filters submissions automatically and will refuse to post content containing prohibited language.
Every review and every golfer profile in the app has a Report control. Choose a reason, add a note if you want to, and send it — the report goes straight into our moderation queue. You can also email hello@tourcard.app.
Every golfer profile has a Block control. Blocking someone removes them from your activity feed, your leaderboards, your search results, and the reviews you see, and removes you from theirs. Any friendship between you ends and any outstanding invitation is withdrawn. You can unblock at any time from Stats → Blocked golfers.
We review every report within 24 hours of receiving it. Depending on what we find we may take no action, hide the content, suspend the account, or remove the account permanently. Repeated or severe breaches lead to permanent removal on the first occasion. Where an account is removed for abuse, we may refuse to let that person register again.
If your content was removed or your account was suspended and you believe we got it wrong, email hello@tourcard.app and a person will look at it again.
If you find a security problem, please tell us at hello@tourcard.app rather than exploiting it. We will not pursue anyone who reports a genuine issue in good faith.
You can delete your account at any time from Stats → Delete my account. Deletion is immediate and permanent, and takes your rounds, reviews, badges, matches, and friendships with it.
We may suspend or terminate an account that breaches these terms. Where it is reasonable to do so, we will tell you why.
TourCard is free, and provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that it will be available without interruption, that course information is accurate, or that a score, handicap, leaderboard position, or match result is correct. Course data comes from public sources and may be out of date.
To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the app. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Apple is not a party to these terms and has no responsibility for the app. Apple has no obligation to provide support for it. If the app fails to conform to any warranty that applies, you may notify Apple and Apple will refund the purchase price — which, the app being free, is nothing. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you.
We may update these terms. If we make a significant change we will say so in the app and update the date at the top of this page. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the new version. The address of this page will not change.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA, and disputes will be handled by the courts there.
